Preparing for your first visit

Preparing for your first appointment? Here’s what to expect. We want to make your visit as easy as possible so we’ve designed an easy check list for you. Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have before your first visit.

  • Fill out the online registration form

    You may also call and/or email us with the information.

  • Plan enough time off from work/school

    Your first appointment will take about 1 to 1.5 hours. Plan accordingly to take time off from work/school so you won't feel rushed.

  • Bring your insurance card and a valid driver's license or government issued ID

  • Bring your medication list and any antibiotics that you may need to take

  • For patients without dental insurance, we will pre-estimate your treatment cost

    We will inform you over the phone or through email communication.

What will happen on my first visit?

During your first appointment at Great Park Dental, you will have an examination and consultation with Dr. Lu. Our dental staff will take the X-rays, intraoral photographs, and cosmetic and orthodontic facial photographs if necessary. Dr. Lu will perform a comprehensive examination, which includes periodontal charting and an oral cancer screening.

We invite you to ask any questions you may have about your condition or procedure. We will evaluate your overall dental health, while considering your preexisting condition, and formulate a plan that’s best suited for you.
